Since my
last blog I have finally submitted all of my coursework and completed all of my
exams! Even though I am so excited that I have completed another year of Uni,
it just means I am one step closer to graduating and leaving here! :( Despite the stress of
the past few weeks, being here is the most fun that anyone will ever have.
The exam season being over can only mean one thing, the
Summer Ball. For those who do not know, the Summer Ball is the big blow out
after exams. It’s located at Sparrows playing fields and this year included:
bumper cars; Chinese Karaoke tent; zorbing; silent disco; and other fun fair
activities. Despite the late night and being exceptionally tired the day after, it was the best way to celebrate the
end of exams and to say goodbye to everyone who is now coming home for the
summer.
Now that my second year is done, I have a very long summer
ahead of me so I am currently trying to find ways to fill my time. This week I
have had three meetings with different schools to organise work experience. One
of which I will be starting in June and the other two I will be starting in
September. For the rest of the summer I will be waiting for my exam results and
catching up on all of the TV that I have missed during the exam period. After this, it is now a countdown to the
start of clearing, and oddly I can’t wait! Not just for the money but for the
BBQ and of course the infamous theme your team day.
So, that’s all for now, but I will keep you updated on my
exam results and the future highlights of the summer!
